This year’s prom took place at the LA Equestrian Center on April 18, 2026, from 7 to 11 p.m. It was a night of elegance and imagination for the Class of 2026 as the prom assembly took place on March 2. The theme was revealed to be “The Crown’s Diamond Ball,” which was inspired by the popular television series “Bridgerton.” It laid the groundwork for a magnificent and captivating evening. The top three couples for prom king, queen, princesses, and princes include Seniors Daniela Zuniga and Calogero Duran, Angeleina Mujica and Devin Martinez, and Gabriel Anguiano and Audrey Gomez.
Powder blue, ivory lace, butter yellow, gentle pink, infinite sea, and soft lilac were among the colorful hues for the theme as it gave the prom a dreamlike feeling. Early in March, tickets cost $130, and as interest in the event surged, prices progressively increased through the first week of April.
The Alhambra High School Class of 2026 Council organized a lively prom week from April 13 to April 17 in order to create anticipation for the big night. While Tuesday’s “Pastel Promenade” spread a wave of gentle hues throughout campus, Monday’s “Royal Slumber” urged students to dress comfortably in pajamas. Wednesday’s “Once Upon a Royal” invited students to dress as Disney-inspired royalty. Thursday’s “Petals of the Ton” featured floral outfits and flower crowns, and the week concluded with Friday’s “The Queen’s Bieberchella,” where students sported Justin Bieber-inspired outfits, including purple attire, hoodies and jorts. Senior Nicole Del Villar expresses her enjoyment and reflects on the day, saying, “As a senior, prom felt like a great way to end off the school year, as it was really fun being with all my friends at once. I enjoyed talking with everyone, dancing when my heels were not killing me, and taking pictures at the photo booth. They were a special piece of the night that I am glad to have now.”
