The girls golf team started their season strong with a win against the Montebello Oilers in a game of 330-251 on Sept. 11. On Sept. 12, girls golf experienced their first loss of the season against the Mark Keppel Aztecs with a score of 259-229. After, the team had a six win streak, winning against the Mark Keppel Aztecs, Schurr Spartans, Bell Gardens Lancers, San Gabriel Matadors and Montebello Oilers. On Oct. 2, the girls golf team faced their second loss against the Aztecs with a score of 249-241. Afterwards, the Moors continued their winning streak with several wins.
“I think golf had a very successful season this year. We all worked hard together and did very well in our games!” sophomore Ann Vo said.
