• Won first place in the Azusa Tournament Singles Consolation (April 2013)

1. What was your most memorable moment in badminton?
[My most memorable moment] was during the Azusa Tournament in April of this year. I got first place in consolation so I was very honored to get the trophy and the medal.

2. How has playing badminton shaped your life?
Badminton affected […] my life because I was 200 pounds in the past but I played one year of badminton in China and [ever since then,] I have been inspired to play a sport.

3. What do you plan on doing after you graduate?
I plan on going to Pasadena City College because they have a badminton team.

4. What have you learned from badminton?

Badminton taught me to not give up, to take advantage of every shot, responsibility and leadership.

5. What is some advice you have for younger players?
They should listen to the coach, practice more, work harder and be more serious.

6. Describe your overall experience these past four years in badminton.
It was good to play badminton at Alhambra High School for four years. [I had] fun [as well as] hard times, [and] I even cried for badminton after losing in a really big event.
