The girls water polo season has recently started but with the start of a new season there also comes the end of another. The boys’ water polo season has already come to a close. Their most recent game took place at Bell Gardens, CA on Wednesday, Oct. 30.  For many members of the team this was a highly anticipated game.

“I felt pretty prepared for the upcoming game. We had been looking forward to our game against Bell Gardens since the beginning of the season and had our eyes on getting the win,” Andrew Huang said.

Throughout their season the Moors have had good games. One of their most exciting games in the season happened on Wednesday, Sept. 4 when they played against West Covina High. In this game they won against West Covina with a score of 22-6, with them winning by 16 points. They also have other accomplishments.

“One of our best accomplishments as a team this year was doing well in our tournament. Although we didn’t win the tournament, we were able to keep games at a close score against teams twice our size,” Andrew Huang said.

The boys water polo team leaves yet another season in the rearview and hopes to improve in their offseason, while the girls season is in full stride. In total the Lady Moors have competed in seven games against different schools. Their most recent game was held on Oct.16 against Northgate.
