Girls’ Golf Finishes Second In League

With girls’ varsity golf being under way, the players have been practicing since pre-season and with all their skill, they are ready and warmed up for the rest of the season. With the start of the season, the team is doing stong with a current record of 4-4. The team has lots a positive energy going after finishing 2nd in the league.

With Head Coach Brambila helping all the girls out, the players are trying their hardest. The players have been improving and trying their hardest to make the best shots possible. Brambila is going into his 13th year teaching and improving with the team. He has been helping the Lady Moors with taking shots and adapting to any differences in the course, gear, and team. The Lady Moors have been trying as hard as they possible and their record and scores have shown it. With many wins under their belt there are many difficulties and hardships to undertake, such as changes in course or a player not being able to show up. such as player not being able to show up, not having enough practice.

They have got to an apex in the season and their scores have sure shown it. Brambilla has been helping the team and their record shows it. The coach has assigned Amanda Beeal with being the team captain because she has exceptional skill and leadership.

“Being captain has helped me create leadership skills and has helped me be more outgoing,” Beeal said. Amanda has been playing golf since her freshman year, she is now a senior, and she has acquired many skills to help her play better and help the team play better. The golf team has a great captain and some great players with them being 2nd in the league and three of the team’s players going to the finals.
