It was over 90 degrees after school on Sept. 25, but the sweltering weather did not stop many students from crowding in the Quad for the school food fair. Traditionally held after a minimum day, the food fair is an annual event organized by ASB members, in which clubs fundraise through selling particular foods.

This year, over 20 clubs participated, selling items that ranged from classics such as pizza, churros and ice cream floats to more unique options: elotes, aguas frescas and Hot Cheetos with nacho cheese.

ASB determined which foods each club would sell at a prior meeting. Clubs were chosen at random one at a time, and as each name was pulled, a representative would claim a food to sell. Prior to the fair, ASB members helped set up the booths, while the Directors of Technology played music to liven up the atmosphere.

Compared to last year, this food fair had a greater turnout and a large majority of the clubs were able to profit, according to ASB Commissioner of Clubs Agatha Handojo.
