As the 2015 girls’ golf season takes full swing, the players look to improve upon last season’s performance. There has been a widespread positive attitude across the entire team and they are looking to better themselves on and off the course. Their efforts will be supported by Coach Brambila, who will be entering his 13th year as the golf team’s head coach.

This preseason, their coach has been working hard with the Lady Moors in preparation for the upcoming season. Learning about different courses and how to angle your shot is one of the most important things in this sport.

“I try and help the players take the best shots that they can depending on how the course is set up,” Brambila said.

Stress has not just been placed on swings and angles, but also independence. Practices are ran not just to learn, but to be able to adjust to different surroundings. The team often emphasises the importance of independence.

“I helped the girls with playing and teaching them to solve problems on the course by themselves,” Brambila said.

With the experience of Brambila and the hard work of the athletes, the season is full of optimism as they strive to win and improve throughout the season.
