Sophomores

Bike rides with friends, hours of watching TV on the couch and staying out late are a few things that some students wish they had the time to do over the summer.  For sophomore Wilson Diep, his vacation consisted of occasions that most take for granted during the hectic school year. Hanging out with friends and family was Wilson’s main focus during his 73 days of freedom.

“My summer was a lot more laid back than most of my friends,’ but I got to spend a lot of time just relaxing with my friends and my family,” said Diep. “Honestly, just having a break from school was enough of a vacation for me.”

While some of last year’s freshmen may be feeling the pressure of moving up in class status at AHS, Wilson is not worried.

“I know that as long as I continue to work hard, finish assignments on time and stick to my schedule, I will be fine this year. I am very excited about sophomore year and I hope to make lots of new friends.”
