1. When did you first begin to play soccer?

A: I first began to play soccer during my freshman year. I tried out for the team and, by junior year, I made varsity.

2. How has soccer affected your life?

A: Soccer has helped me get through several tough times, both in school and out; it has helped raise my awareness of my surroundings and give me time to think about what I will do next. If it weren’t for soccer, I’d be fat. It really helped me get into shape.

3. What plans do you have after high school graduation?

A: After high school, I plan on playing soccer in college, since it has always been an important part of my life, especially in high school. I plan on playing on the team at California State University Northridge.

4. What important skills has soccer taught you?

A: Besides skills that I use on the field, soccer has taught me that if you set your mind on something that you want, you focus on it, you can achieve almost anything.
