1. How has volleyball impacted your high school life?

Volleyball has definitely made high school more stressful, but definitely more fulfilling. I had to manage my time more carefully and prioritize what I had to do. Volleyball has taught me a lot about how to be a better person. Coach Charles [Tran] has taught me a lot about life and that we should always try our hardest and never give up.

2. What life lessons have you learned from volleyball?
I learned that if you don’t try, there is no way you’ll ever succeed.

3. What is your favorite aspect about being on the volleyball team?
I like the family atmosphere of our team and how we have to work together to win.

4. Why do you enjoy playing volleyball?
I enjoy playing volleyball because there’s a rush when I’m in the air [and] about to hit the ball.

5. What are your plans for the future?

I plan on attending the University of California, Irvine and going into the pharmaceutical field. I do not plan on playing volleyball in college.

6. Do you have any advice for the underclassmen in the volleyball program?
Don’t take your time in volleyball for granted because it will pass by quickly and it’s one of the things I’ll miss most from high school.
