noun
A profoundly, passionate affection or personal attachment for another person.

Today, teenagers do not understand the difference between love and lust. Lust is driven by self-righteous avarice, while love is driven by divinity. But because society has distorted what love is, many people are confused.

The idea of love, in today’s society, is based off simple acts of kindness, or just being brainwashed into thinking what love is throughout social media, chick flicks and preteen romance novels. Often times, people tend to believe they love someone because of their outer appearance. As teenagers, we tend to ignore the importance of connecting through the mind and soul that would evoke everlasting love.

Many teenagers believe that every relationship, has a happily ever after. However, nothing will ever be like a fairy tale, but we can always find love one way or another. Society has misconstrued the meaning of love, and we need come to a mutual understanding that love is not just interest of physical attraction but the finding of love is the final destination to a human’s completion.
