Cool Streaming Sevices to Try Out

Being at home can get quite dull at times with nothing to do. To ease that boredom, it is always good to put on a good movie or show to binge-watch with family and friends. Using cable can pose some problems as it is not always possible to binge watch. That is why people should try out streaming services. Not only do they have limitless options, it is possible to watch any time. Here are just a few options of some streaming services that are worth trying out. 

Disney Plus

Disney Plus is a streaming service that has a variety of Disney films, from old classics to new and reimagined live-action films. Content from Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic is also included. According to androidauthority.com, Disney Plus has expanded to many parts of the world from the United States to Australia, Italy, Spain, India and Japan. The price of the streaming service is $6.99 a month or $69.99 for an annual subscription. Although, starting March 26, 2021 the price in the US will be raised to $7.99 a month and $79.99 for an annual subscription. There is also a bundle available which combines the streaming services Disney Plus, Hulu (with ads.) and ESPN Plus for $12.99 a month (or $18.99 for Hulu without ads). With everyone safely in quarantine at home, there is still a way to be able to stream a movie or show with friends and family without having to be in the same household. There is an icon with three people called Groupwatch, located at the bottom of a film or show selected, this allows a group to be created by inviting others to join virtually. Grab some popcorn and enjoy a movie night with the whole family.

Amazon Prime

Amazon Prime is a popular subscription program by Amazon that gives users access to not only music, quick and inexpensive delivery and gaming content, but also streaming and digital benefits that allow access to thousands of shows. For the cost of the subscription, Monthly Prime members usually pay $12.99, while Monthly Prime Student members pay half the price of $6.49 per month. However, they do offer a 30-day trial of ad-free streaming. One Amazon Prime review calls it “a growing library” with “a decent collection of movies and TV shows to stream.”

Hulu

Hulu is a streaming service which allows customers to enjoy a wide variety of films and TV shows for as little as five dollars a month. Viewers can watch many different movies and shows that are relatively up-to-date. According to diffen.com, Hulu offers over 1,650 and 2,500 movies, which are all available in Hulu’s base plan. For $12 a month, customers can get the same plan but without the annoying ads. Both plans only allow users to watch on two devices at a time, although users can sign in on several devices. Hulu is compatible with a wide range of devices, including most Apple and Samsung devices, along with many different video game consoles. Using the Hulu streaming service is as easy as downloading the app and signing up for a plan.
