Repealment of Gas Taxes

The November ballot had top Republicans appear in California’s polls to vote on repealing the gas tax. Some benefits coming from the gas taxes would be the construction of bridges and roads.

“The gas tax repealment will help the state earn more revenue but the people in the state will be angry on having a purposely raised price on gas,” Freshman Elizabeth Han said. “The tax argument is said to be unnecessary. The previous gas tax increment was sufficient for vehicles and [there is] no need for more for California.”

Many residents oppose the increase, despite the proposed benefits.

“The money being used for gas to get to destinations such as jobs who give you the money for working will be more difficult and people would have to change their routes to find a preserving matter to be able to obtain themselves properly,” Math teacher Judy Maggio said. The Republicans have the control on the growth of their city, states and more.

Those who live in the city have the trouble of having a populated environment where everyone uses the roads. The cause of so much chaos is time wasted and traffic which will waste gas. The residents on the outside of the city have the same problem with the amount of gas wasted by driving long distances.
